IPC Patent Attorney, Stephen Kepper, recently obtained a design patent US Patent 10,775,133, B2 for a novel gun holster for client, Albert Gene Higdon, Jr. (“Gene”), owner of Mean Gene Leather, a manufacturer who specializes in leather goods for the tactical gear industry.
Specifically, the unique holster invented by Mr. Higdon may be constructed from a single continuous sheet of material, e.g. leather, that is folded in a novel manner and utilizes torsion springs to compress the sides of the holster together to create a positive compression grip on the contents within.
