Attorney Fees Awarded Regarding Alliance of Good Government Trademark Case
IPC's client Tropical Isle was awarded a full recovery of attorney fees in connection with its defense of a trademark infringement lawsuit brought by a beer company. Earlier, IPC obtained a summary judgment for Tropical Isle, dismissing all claims. The court has now ordered the defendant to reimburse Tropical Isle for all of its legal fees and costs.
Experts estimate that a trademark infringement lawsuit will cost between $120,000 and $750,000 – whether you are the plaintiff or defendant. We understand the cost of litigation is significant and is often a big barrier for intellectual property right owners to protect their rights. At IPC, we can help clear that hurdle by obtaining awards like these. The case is being handled by IPC’s Rick Sahuc and Greg Latham.
